TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

  1. Our standard hours of business are Monday – Friday, 8am – 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 4pm.
  2. We will respond to all emails and telephone calls received on a working day by the end of the next working day.
  3. We will treat all communications with strict confidentiality and will work within the provisions of the Data Protection Act
  4. On acceptance of an instruction, we will inspect the property within 3 working days, subject to the seller being available for an appointment within this timescale.
  5. After the inspection the EPC will be submitted to our approved certification scheme within 24 hours.
  6. We shall maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance at the level required by our certification scheme.
  7. We shall fulfil the requirements of our certification scheme and hold a current licence to operate as Domestic Energy Inspectors.
  8. Fees: Our fee for each inspection or HIP shall be agreed at the time of acceptance.
  9. Payment: Payment must be made on booking of the HIP or Energy Inspection.
  10. Cancelled appointments: If an appointment for an inspection is cancelled (through no fault of our own) and we are not notified at least 4 hours before the time of the inspection the agreed fee will still be charged for the cancelled appointment at our discretion.
  11. Complaints: All complaints received will be dealt with in accordance with our complaints procedure.
